FEATURE FILM DEBUT MARTIJN SMITS: ZOMBIBI
ZOMBIBI is the first Dutch Zombie comedy (Zomedy) and will hit theaters on february 16th.
The bizarre story takes place in Amsterdam-West, where a virus turns people into bloodthirsty zombies. Although much blood is flowing and many limbs chopped off, there is a lot to laugh at in this bizarre horror comedy.
The film is directed by Martijn Smits & Erwin van den Eshof. Produced by Paul Ruven and Rene Huybrechtse of Talent United Film and TV. Distribution A-Film Netherlands.

My short film Brother's Keeper is selected for the Los Angeles
Screamfest Film festival. A great honor to be part of this
important horror film festival!
The film is also selected for numerous film festivals in Europe
this fall. In Switserland, Holland, Sweden, England and France.

BROTHER'S KEEPER WINS SHOCKING SHORTS AWARD
During the Dutch Filmfestival 'Brother's Keeper' won the
1st prize as best short horrorfilm. This was
Tijdens het Nederlands Filmfestival heeft 'Brother's Keeper'
de 1ste prijs gewonnen tijdens de uitreiking van de Shocking
Shorts Awards competitie. De wedstrijd was een initiatief van
de kabelzender Sci-Fi Channel en 13th street. De jury bestond
o.a. uit Rutger Hauer, Monique van de Ven en Jean van de Velde.
De prijs houdt in dat Martijn van 8 t/m 21 maart de 'Universal
Studio's Filmmasters workshop' mag gaan volgen in Hollywood.
